While modern guitar indie is going through a bit of a difficult phase at the moment (NB: avoid any band in this genre prefixed with "The"), there's one lot that are taking it back to basics. Temples are a glorious psych-rock outfit, paying homage to the 60s and 70s without ever being derivative. With any luck, forthcoming single Colours to Life (below) should gain them some recognition quicker than you can say kaleidoscope.
