Thank the Lord, Australia's sorting it's shit out post-Gotye. After giving us Betty Who's wonderful pop, we're now graced with the wonderful Melbourne pop-folk band Brighter Later.
Debut album The Wolves offers a rich soundscape, a sort of Antipodean version of the Staves. Lead single The Woods (below) also has elements of pastoral Beach House, and it all comes together as a gorgeous accompaniment to summer afternoons. We're fans.
