Younger Still is an Ohio four-piece who, according to their Facebook page, need a little help. "Younger Still is a recording project that wishes to go further," they say, before encouraging people to get in touch if they can help. Which is a massive, massive shame.
We'll tell you for why: their demo is lovely. They describe it as atmospheric indie, we'll add a light bit of shoegaze dream-pop, but all you need to hear is the opening of Magic (below) to see why they deserve to make a proper go of this. The band sadly seem resigned to the fact that they may well get lost in the myriad other acts in the world, but they're better than a lot of the dross out there.
"If anyone is interested in bringing Younger Still to life," they conclude, "message the band." Lads, we'd help if we could, but any alt-leaning record label worth its salt ought to be hitting 'Compose' right about now.
