Now we're normally very suspicious of a band name that has undue punctuation in it (D:ream take note, D'Angelo we'll let you off). We're doubly sceptical of anyone who quotes Nietzsche under a music video. But :PAPERCUTZ (yes, we'll spell it like that for now) have come along with Rivers which is starting to change our mind.
A bleak, arresting number with echoes of the darkest Scandi-pop, turns out this is quite the left-field surprise for our inbox. While :PAPERCUTZ have one album under their belt already, it's this new release The Blur Between Us that will make you sit up and take notice. Have a listen below:
