Let's be honest, no one's ever going to say that Memory Tapes are their favourite artist. Too inconsistent to ever be anywhere except the fringe, Dayve Hawk does however produce some synthpop gems here and there.
Two such cuts are Follow Me and Neighbourhood Watch, from upcoming six-track album Grace/Confusion - not an ode to Ms Jones, sadly, but certainly Memory Tapes' best offering yet. Have a little listen below:
