One of our guiltier moments of the last year has been enjoying the folk-pop ways of Benjamin Francis Leftwich, in particular the adorably gooey Box of Stones. Granted, the boy generally makes music you'd hear in the background of Grey's Anatomy - nowt wrong with that, mind - and the new EP, In the Open, carries this in on in a way most wonderful.
We're definitely sensing a more mature direction for this young 'un, particularly in the awkwardly titled Is That You On That Plane (below). Roll on the second album.
